Here's how to measure a girl
A. Chest size :
Make sure the child is standing up straight and relaxed, with his arms at his sides.
Place the tape measure around the chest: Pass the tape measure around the widest part of the child's chest. Make sure the tape measure is parallel to the ground and not too tight or too loose. It should be snug enough not to slip.
B. Waist size :
A child's natural waist is usually the narrowest part of the torso, above the hip bone and below the lower ribs. It may be helpful to ask the child to bend slightly to one side to find this spot. Pass the tape measure around the child's waist, making sure it is parallel to the ground and not too tight or too loose. It should be snug enough not to slip.
C. Around the pool :
The pelvic circumference is measured around the widest part of the child's hips and buttocks. This is usually a few centimetres below the waist, at the widest point of the hips. Wrap the tape measure around the widest part of the child's pelvis, making sure it's parallel to the ground and not too tight or too loose. It should be snug enough not to slip off.
For all measurements, make sure the tape measure is snug but not too tight, and that it remains parallel to the ground to obtain accurate measurements. Repeat measurements as necessary to ensure accuracy.
